Our Story

Pub & Eatery
Est. 2025

Uncle Jimmy's Pub and Grill is owned by Jimmy and his wife Angie. Together with their two kids, they live in New Berlin and are active in their community. Uncle Jimmy's Pub and Grill is located in a 200 year old building with a storied history. Uncle Jimmy's is a family friendly sports club open for basketball, football, soccer and baseball games. During the summer, enjoy outdoor seating and live music.

In 1836, W.A. Cone obtained a land grant for one-quarter of Section 28, which he later sold to Angelus Verbrick.

In February 1891, Verbrick leased a small portion of his property along W. National Avenue to M.A. Sickles and F.E. Allen for a 25-year term. The lease required them—or their heirs—to construct and operate a cheese factory within one year. According to records filed with the Waukesha County Register of Deeds, they were to pay one dollar annually on February 28th for the duration of the lease.

Additionally, Verbrick agreed to provide a full deed for the property upon receiving a $100 payment, with one strict condition: the land could never be used for selling malt liquor, ardent (burning) spirits, or any intoxicating beverages. If this restriction was violated, the property would revert back to Verbrick.

After the building changed hands several times, in 1994 it became Mustang Shelly's. Jimmy purchased it from her in 2025 and changed it to what it's know as today: Uncle Jimmy's Pub and Grill.
